is the most intriguing mystery the rock world has ever known. Jimmibeetles’
profound essence and powerful soul swept the New York City rock scene during
the 1960s as his audiences manifested, and his fans became fanatics. Ahead
of his time, and overwrought with passion, Jimmibeetles undoubtedly
influenced many of the superstar performers of his generation.
As for recognition, he has received none. At the height of his underground
acclaim, Jimmibeetles was bombarded by offers to commercialize his works,
Refusing in fear of defacing his art, Jimmibeetles turned inward from the
outside world. In 1971 Jimmibeetles vanished. Anybody who had the opportunity
to witness Jimmibeetles upon his “Electric Ark” would come away knowing that
he was definitely “Not from Here”. For the protection of Jimmibeetles’ own
obscurity, we have changed his name to capture the entity of the music
culture he so fully affected. It took a century for society to discover
the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. It has taken well over a half Century
to tell the story of Jimmibeetles.
